Opaş was founded in 1974, and has been one of the leading companies of today's Turkish Automotive Spare-Parts Industry with its knowledge and experience.

Due to the competitive production development of Turkish industry,the CNC based machine tooling started to use widespread and the necessity for the carbide cutting tools has been increased. Therefore Opaş, to apply its knowledge in this area, founded the SMT department to target producing the carbide cutting tools in 2003. The development contained as an R&D project and offering the service for optimum working conditions with the support of CAD, High-Tech measurement devices, and 5 axis CNC Grinding Machines.p>

Moreover, Opaş produces special tools such as End Mills, Drills, Spotting Drill, Reamers…etc. which are used widespread in the industry for special purposes at the DIN Standard and it offers the service of customer satisfaction.
